The Associate, Media Tech & Ad Operations, assists in the preparation, implementation, and management of digital media campaigns, including project timelines, gathering of assets, traffic instructions and creation of ad serving tags.
This position is important in the daily running of the Media Technology department and designated accounts. While advanced Media Technology thinking is not expected, the successful Associate shows the initiative to participate in advanced projects. The Associate, Media Tech & Ad Ops position is training-intensive.
At the end of the tenure, you will understand the systems and tasks involved in campaign implementation and execution, understand the digital media planning and buying process, and help identify new tools to allow Dentsu to work as an organization.
Main Responsibilities include:
Campaign Support:
- Support the campaign implementation process from beginning to end by:
o work with internal and external partners to ensure all appropriate materials are received and distributed correctly
o Schedule placements, ads and creatives throughout the life cycle of the campaigns
o Implement required tagging/pixels for surveys, audience measurements, verification, and other tracking components for vendors such as Adobe, Salesforce/Krux, Kantar, IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat and others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Third-party Ad Servers (Google Campaign Manager, Sizmek) and rich media technology
- Enforce taxonomy for each trafficking/reporting platform and ensure all are tracking as expected
- Work with internal and external partners to resolve reporting and billing discrepancies
- Coordinate and meet all deliverables promptly
Client & Internal Relationships:
- Work with media, creative and analytics teams at the onset of a campaign to identify and implement all creative and technical requirements
- Manage relationships with external vendors (such as rich media companies, media publishers, research firms, and others.)
- Engages with all work-related contacts
- Recognize recurrent or potential problems, and know when to escalate and propose solutions
- Attends all status meetings

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)- 1-2 years’ experience
- Knowledge of third-party Adservers (GCM/Sizmek) & other Ad Technologies (Brand Safety, DCO, etc.)
- Experience in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Strong analytical skills
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $45,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
