Location: Taunton Hospice
Hours: Full or Part Time Hours available
Contract Type: Permanent, up to 37 hours per week
Salary: £21,106.44 + 18% unsocial hours enhancement
Annual Leave Entitlement: Initial 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) increasing to 35 days pro rata after 1 year

About the role

This extends across our In-Patient unit, Community teams, Physio, therapies and lymphoedema departments bringing the best care possible to those who frequent St Margaret’s Hospice.
We currently have a vacancy for a Healthcare assistant qualified to level 2 in Health and Social Care within our In-patient team. The ideal candidate will be a caring, enthusiastic individual who thrives on being part of a patient focused team. Our in- patient unit is a 24 hour a day service, and shifts will reflect this working on a rotational basis, so flexibility is required of all staff.
Our healthcare assistants provide outstanding patient care to those with a life limiting illness, making each day count for those who rely on St Margaret’s services.
