We have some exciting opportunities available here at Barking and Dagenham College.
Our Digital & Production Arts Department are looking for a motivated and learner-centred Lecturer - Digital Media-Esports, , to join our growing digital media department with our various programmes and to lead on our popular eSports provision.
The successful candidate will work with our Technical Trainers to help deliver and assess various subjects within digital media including game design, 3D modelling, game development and film. Experience of eSports would be advantageous to this role, as it would also include delivery of streaming technologies, event planning and brand building.
You will be responsible for the course leadership of digital media programmes including our eSports programmes both Level 2 & Level 3, maintain retention at 90% or above, raise achievement and progression of learners and promote the development and shared use of high-quality teaching and learning resources.
The Lecturer - Digital Media-Esports will plan and lead on Awarding Body standardisation process - work with the digital & production arts team to develop, design, deliver and assess project coursework for groups of learners and individuals.
