Job Description

We are looking for a Media Planning Manager

This is an opportunity to work with the Electrolux Group in a freshly formed team dedicated to delivering media plans that build business and brand growth. It is an interesting, dynamic, and diverse workplace in which to manage the strategic planning process across multiple markets.

We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and aid the development of other members of the team. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and for the most part be able to manage their workload autonomously.

The role reports to the Global Account Director. There will be another Account Manager working alongside you; and both will be supported by Account Executives and Planning Managers to manage the planning process.

Relationship Management

• Key point of contact for regional agency teams*, centralised digital hub team and global client stakeholders, supported by the Global Account Director.
• Key contact for specific media projects with clients.
• Manage upwards to ensure your team are aware of key workstreams, updates or challenges.
• Support in the delivery of client status reports, talk through owned line items on status call.

Regional Coordination & Management

• Work with regional agency teams to share relevant information and ensure involvement in the development of global strategies.
• Ensure regional calls run smoothly and to collate and distribute feedback and media plans.
• Support Global Account Director in ensuring regional teams are following the Global strategy and executing best in class plans at a local level.

Reporting

• Ability to understand a media plan and be the conduit between planning teams, centralised digital hub teams and Global clients.
• Oversee the tracking and aggregation of data across for analysis (media plans).
• Oversee competitive reporting and reviews, with the ability to draw conclusions and hypotheses.

• The regions are Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia Pacific Middle East Africa

Qualifications

• An experienced Senior Account Executive looking to make the leap to Planning Account Manager or an Account Manager wanting to make the move into a global role.
• Knowledgeable in all media channels and media agency experience working on local or global clients.
• Able to multi-task and prioritise, with exceptional organizational skills.
• A confident and adaptable communicator and solutions-oriented.
• Able to assess the value of individual tasks and manage priorities, taking into account the bigger picture beyond any one task.

Able to identify when to escalate potential issues before they become a problem
