Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator will raise awareness to drive sales for the company’s products by developing and executing all aspects of our social media accounts across the company brands. You will work with internal team members and external influencers to build a community around social media activity and content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (What will you be doin?)
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist team to create, plan, and implement paid and organic social media campaigns
- Coordinate marketing efforts for content creation, production, and publishing
- Publish and post social media content according to content plan and schedule
- Engage and communicate with social media followers to build community, user-generated content, excitement, value, and their intent to purchase
- Manage timeline for marketing campaigns, including pulling product samples, coordinating photoshoots, and sending products to influencers or partners
- Assist in research and recruitment of influencers who could increase our brand awareness
- Manage partnership proposals with influencers, affiliates, partners, and content creators
- Coordinate and send products to influencers and content creators
- Communicate with influencers on timelines for publishing content
- Support with market research, competitive analysis
- Report on campaign results and performance
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) – What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media influencer marketing
- Experience with research using data analytics software
- Excellent copy-writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
Skills that will make you successful in this role
- Experience with social media management platforms
- Experience with paid ads on social media platforms
- Experience communicating with influencers and developing partnerships
- Experience with copy-writing for social media content
