Description:

Amped I is looking for an experienced and energetic Recruiter to source and attract top Talent to join our Electrical Engineering team while also managing our social media presence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting processes from writing descriptions to assisting in onboarding new hires. This includes processing background checks and employment/education verification
  • Strategize with leadership to effectively advertise job openings online managing the recruitment spend on a monthly basis
  • Building a strong employer brand to ensure the company provides a positive candidate experience
  • Source candidates through online channels when needed for effective passive candidate recruitment (e.g. professional networks, linkedin.com, and portfolio sites)
  • Track and organize candidates via the Paylocity applicant tracking system and onboarding systems
  • Screen resumes and applications keeping candidates up to date on their status as an applicant while also communicating feedback with the hiring team
  • Coordinating and facilitating candidate in-person or phone interviews with the hiring team
  • Provide interview feedback to candidates and work with members of the team to identify new ways to evaluate or interview candidates
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance the company's online presence and engage with targeted clients and employment candidates
  • Create and curate compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • Manage and maintain the company's social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling and community management
  • Monitor social media trends, track key performance indicators and provide regular reports on social media analytics and engagement metrics
  • Respond to comments, messages and inquiries from followers and potential candidates in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and promote company news, achievements and events through social media channels
Requirements:

Requirements

  • 5+ years sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates as a talent acquisition or recruitment professional
  • Experience with hiring candidates in the Engineering Services field is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the US
  • Prior experience utilizing an applicant tracking system
  • Excellent communication and a demonstrated progressive recruitment-focused work history
  • Strong people skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly and efficiently
  • Foster good relationships with recruits and company hiring managers following through on each job filled with energy and enthusiasm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
  • 2 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
