A Media Buyer will be charged with the development of strategies and execution of paid media campaigns across a wide range of industries, emphasizing social media in Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive verticals. The Paid Social, Media Buyer & QA will be strategic, creative, and analytical and use their paid media experience within platforms to focus on placing media buys. A Paid Social, Media Buyer & QA will also assist in advancing iFrog partner business by helping to achieve and measure key media objectives and KPIs.
Essential Functions:
As needed, meet with performance managers to help establish marketing strategies and media objectives for existing and incoming partners.
Communicate with performance managers regularly and assist in planning strategy adjustments.
Assist in setting up all necessary partners’ paid social media advertising accounts and profiles necessary to run desired campaigns.
Plan and assist in building Tier 2 and Tier 3 campaigns to meet assigned partner budgets and strategy needs.
Ensure Tier 2 and Tier 3 campaigns meet best practices and organize ad groups to carry out strategies efficiently.
Monitor ad campaign spending throughout the month by platform to ensure that spending is on pace to meet budgets and objectives.
Quality check and approve paid social media builds by other media buyers according to iFrog and Media Department standards.
Identify problems or anomalies within campaigns relative to goals or spending and make necessary adjustments.
Keep track of Tier 2 and Tier 3 partner ad budgets and spending and assist in coordinating partner billing and co-op/compliance needs.
Assist with coordinating assets needed for partner messaging to be consistent across all platforms.
Schedule and perform routine campaign maintenance and optimizations to maximize results
Work with the Data/Analytics Department to prepare for tracking and monitoring goals and conversions through a partner’s website, ad accounts, or other online assets.
As needed, create and install tracking pixels onto partner websites.
As needed, use your firm knowledge of DSPs for the execution of programmatic, addressable, geotargeting, paid social media, video, and contextual plans to deliver appropriate messaging to audiences efficiently and effectively.
Assist as needed with iFrog Marketing objectives and strategies and assist in creating needed media buys when requested.
Seek updates and remain current on all ad platform rules, regulations, and best practices to keep Tier 2 and Tier 3 campaigns up to current standards.
Develop ideas and conduct regular A/B tests to identify opportunities to improve overall campaign performance.
The ability to work on a hybrid 3+2 office/work-from-home model (5 days at the office for the initial 90 days).
All other duties as assigned by iFrog Leadership.
Additional Responsibilities:
Build specialty request campaigns for partners.
Meet with third-party vendors or manufacturer representatives on behalf of partners to discuss and carry out collaborative efforts or make recommendations.
Attend training sessions and assist in training new team members on how to use ad platforms and company tools.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Education & Experience:
1-2 years paid social media buying experience, mainly through Meta Business Manager.
Prior experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to report and optimize strategy based on data.
Understanding and experience in AI and machine-learning performance tools.
Knowledge of marketing metrics, analysis, and interpretation.
Working knowledge of the automotive industry.
Recent Google Analytics certification(s).
Proficient with Google Suite.
Proficient with macOS.
