Due to year on year growth they are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Integration Technician.

Skills Required:
- All aspects of prototype of vehicle
- Wiring harness manufacture
- Vehicle teardown and rebuild(interior & Exterior)
- Vehicle systems diagnostics
- Flashing software to sensors,ECU, and calibration of Autonomous vehicle sensors such as lidar, radar and camera.
- Integration of automotive sensors and Controls.
- Solidworks designing for small parts of the components
- Vehicle Testing, Validation and Release for Operations
Responsibilities:
- Experience with mechanical assembly and integration.
- Integrating new hardware and complex systems
- Determining that the outcome of the integration has met the organisation’s needs
- Handling a broad range of software and other programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.
- Defining integration strategies and methods and then planning them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules
- Ability to ensure all equipment is ready-to-use
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts list
- Experience in a engineering technician role supporting the design and installation of equipment
- Ability to apply electrical and electronic theory and expertise to design, build, assemble, repair, adjust, modify, and calibrate electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Robotics or related field
- Experience with sensors, calibration, and/or the autonomous automotive field
- Dealership training and automotive experience
- Experience with Lidar, Radar, Python, C++, Jira, Linux
- Previous experience diagnosing and performing repairs on electric and/or hybrid vehicles.
- Experience working on cars (brakes, advanced suspension, alignment, electrical repair and diagnosis, software/firmware updates, diagnose nuanced mechanical, electrical, and A/C systems.
