Main Tasks & Requirements
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering/Physics Graduate to join us on our 12-month Graduate Scheme.
On the Scheme you will be working on innovative projects, driving business-critical initiatives, and learning from world-class professionals whilst you rotate around the business on 3-month placements. At the end of the Scheme, you will be placed on a further 12-month placement somewhere in the UK, to give you the opportunity for a more in-depth experience prior to settling permanently into an area of the business. This placement will align with your interests and the business needs.
Based initially in our Nottingham office on the first two of your four rotations, you can look forward to a mix of on-the-job learning, training courses and project work. You will be pushed outside of your comfort zone working on live customer projects alongside technical experts, happy to share their knowledge with you as a key part of their team. Your final rotation will be a placement with one of our overseas technical teams, experiencing their customer challenges, absorbing the culture, and giving you a more global perspective.
The salary will be £28,000 per annum with an additional £2,000 Golden Hello which you will receive after successful completion of your 3-month probation. As you move around the UK on subsequent rotations, we will arrange your accommodation and cover the costs, so you do not need to worry, but instead embrace the huge opportunities you will experience moving between different areas of the Hexagon business.
This Graduate Scheme is designed to start you on a journey towards becoming a technical expert or future business leader; the choice is yours.
Your experiences will contribute towards you becoming a Chartered Engineer including the opportunity to share your experiences with the wider community via our STEM Programme. Your Executive Mentor who is part of the Leadership Team will be there to support you with the choices you make, and give invaluable insight into what it will be like to be a future leader of the business.
If you are highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit; insatiable curiosity and want to learn from the best, and anticipate a 2:1 or above, join us and make a real difference through engineering a better world APPLY NOW to join us in September 2023.
