Senior Mechanical Engineer (Water) | Belfast
Vickerstock are working alongside one of Ireland's leading water and wastewater contractors to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support in the delivery of a major infrastructure project in Belfast. This business has a proven track record for delivering turnkey solutions across Ireland, with the expertise to design, construct, operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants.
Your new role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Water)
As a Senior Design Engineer, the successful applicant will be a member of an integrated multi-disciplined engineering design team and will be required to work in partnership and collaboratively with other team members in developing final detailed design solutions for major wastewater treatment plants and associated major wastewater transfer pumping stations.
What you will need to succeed as a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Water)
- A Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar);
- A minimum of 7-years post graduate experience working the design of water / Wastewater projects;
- Chartered status with the IMechE is preferred but not essential
- Thorough knowledge of NEC4 contracts and some exposure to Primavera P6
