Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements, create designs, and ensure the successful implementation of mechanical solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing personnel, to define project requirements and establish design constraints.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed mechanical drawings, models, and simulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform calculations to assess the performance, strength, and durability of mechanical designs.
- Generate detailed engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
- Knowledge of design and analysis software, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as ASME, ANSI, and ISO.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Experience in the design and development of complex mechanical systems or products.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
- Experience with computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
- Understanding of mechatronics and automation principles.
