PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides Quality Control of drawings and diagrams
• Translates operational needs into system requirements and develops testing methodologies with pass/fail criteria for validation and verification
• Develops and/or modifies engineering drawings and diagrams to include product level, installation, interface and other drawings using 2 and 3 dimensional drawing software
• Contributes to Engineering Change Requests and Proposals, and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews
• Conducts research on new or emerging technologies, evaluates technology readiness levels, and prepares Analysis of Alternatives and/or Engineering Assessment briefings in support of hardware or software technical refreshes

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least one year of experience with 2D and 3D engineering drawings that include quality control, redlines, and comments
• Proficiency in the following:
  • Performing routine design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical components, subsystems, and systems
  • Conducting routine analyses and/or tests pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials or processes, completes required documentation, and providing recommendations
  • Assisting with the evaluation of field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
    
  • Developing installation, interconnect, and product level drawing packages and diagrams

• Previous experience providing mechanical engineering services to the USAF

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
