Basic £25-35K pa, plus OTE via Overtime/Call-Out support, Company Van, etc..

This role provides a good salary and the opportunity to earn more through the Call-Out Rota and Over-time working. Although the work is primarily Domestic Gas Boiler and Heating system Installation, Maintenance and Gas Safety work, we also work with LPG and Oil systems, so there will be an opportunity to develop your skills and certification in these areas. We also do Bathroom design and installation, and other general plumbing work and maintenance.

  • Full-time, Permanent Role.
  • Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
  • Core Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5pm
  • Call-Out Rota with additional payment
  • Opportunity for overtime to boost earnings.

The Job:

Are you a Heating Engineer looking for a varied and exciting new role, with your own van and the latest technology. If you are, then this is what you can look forward to:

  • Primarily domestic Gas Heating and Plumbing work:
  • Design
  • Installation
  • Maintenance
  • Repairing
  • Gas Safety Certification
  • General Plumbing.
  • Involvement in LPG and Oil solutions when qualified, with training available.
  • Bathroom design and installation
  • Small commercial projects.

The Person:

As you will be dealing with our customers face-to-face it is essential to have a great customer service skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your work and dealings with the customer. We are looking for someone to carry out work with an ethos of ‘Right First Time’ always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, ensuring high quality workmanship and high standards of performance. You will also need to be self-sufficient, able to work independently or as part of a team, adaptable and flexible.

Specifically:

  • Previous experience in a Domestic Gas environment – 3 Years (preferred)
  • Including – Installation, Servicing, Repairs, Gas Safety Checks and Fault Diagnosis
  • Plumbing experience – 3 Years (Preferred)
  • ACS Qualification (Required)
  • Full, Clean Driving Licence (Required)
  • LPG, Unvented Hot Water and Oil experience would be a advantageous, but not essential..
  • CSCS (Preferred)
  • You must have the ability to work unsupervised and constantly deliver the required service quality
  • Be self-motivated and take pride in your work.
  • You must be able to record and update job progress on the company software solution.
  • You need to be great with customers, positive with team members, and be friendly and professional.
  • Experience of Bathroom installations / work would be beneficial but not essential.
