Job title: FM Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £52084+ (Plus overtime rates) (Commensurate with skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Ownership, development and promulgation of standards and specifications relating to the whole life cycle of building services and infrastructure
- Ownership, development, and promulgation of standards relating to Cyber Security in Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology
- Undertaking surveys, audits, and process confirmations of system condition, performance operation and supplier performance
- Identification of opportunities for efficiency improvements, development of business cases and support to the implementation of opportunities
- Supporting facilities management engineers and maintenance professionals across Air locations through the lifecycle of facilities with specialist support
- Working with external stakeholders to ensure quality, continuity and safety of utilities and building systems
Your skills and experiences:
- Suitable qualification in Building Services Engineering, Building Energy Management Systems, Sustainability in the Built Environment, or mechanical engineering
- Appropriate engineering experience
- Sound knowledge of the UK energy policies and an understanding of the global energy market,
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental knowledge and ideally awareness of building design and operation legislation
- Ability to understand, interpret and apply design codes, codes of practice and design guides in an operational environment

As a part of Facilities Team, you will be planning and managing the activities of a broad range of multi-disciplinary projects and strategic service/supplier partnerships to meet the estate and operational facility needs of the business.
