Job description
Mechanical Design Engineer - London - to £48K WFH 35 hour working week
Tired of your employer not prioritising your career development?
Interested in using digitalisation and building performance engineering to design complex healthcare projects?
With a CIBSE approved training programme, this building services consultancy have supported seven engineers in becoming Chartered in the last 12 months. They are the only UK Engineering business with a Platinum 'Investors in People' accreditation, which means they really do practise what they preach and do develop their employees.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll join a team of around 25 MEP Design engineers and will have enough resources to ensure that the design quality is always the top focus. You won't have to cut corners and issue work you are not happy with, just to meet unrealistic deadlines due to projects being under resourced.
Here, you will work on the design of diverse range of healthcare projects (RIBA stage 1-4) including hospitals, primary care, and mental health facilities.
Based from their newly renovated and open plan office space close to Kings Cross, you'll share the same space as the partners. And if you need a bit of help or advice you are encouraged to speak to your team members including the Partners, Associates and Seniors, the majority of whom are Chartered.
You'll have their support and exposure to their in-depth knowledge meaning you will constantly be able to develop your knowledge & skills and also become a Chartered Engineer.
They value and promote a work life balance and operate a hybrid working policy so you can work from home two to three days a week to suit your own schedule.
As a privately owned consultancy, rather than having to work to the targets of investors, you will work for a team of Directors who are truly passionate about delivering quality to their clients and are still strongly involved in the day-to-day running of projects.
They are genuinely focused on developing your skills and promoting from within, retaining and developing the best talent.
