Job description
We are looking for a proven car mechanic to join a small team of on-site motor mechanics.The post is ideal for an all-rounder with knowledge of Vauxhall, Jaguar or Mercedes Benz vehicles. The role is a self-sufficient role, you will be expected to be a self starter who can manage a large fleet of vehicles, prioritizing work from bodywork, to engines, interiors, valet and preparing vehicles for MOT. The garage is situated in Elephant & Castle/Borough. Can be permanent or temporary, depending upon circumstances. The job falls into five main categories: diagnostics repair Work, preventive maintenance, stocking the garage, servicing planning.
We are also looking for general workshop staff who would be expected to have some level of mechanical experience, but not necessarily a fully trained mechanic. There is a good opportunity to progress to become a mechanic. Please apply using details below. We welcome your application.
Outline:
- Manage an array of duties associated with caring for a large fleet of vehicles
- Responsibility for preventive and reactionary maintenance on vehicles: from oil changes, tyre rotation to bodywork & clutch changes and all other wear and tear work.
- Develop a positive relationship with controllers and supervisors to achieve best results for the Company.
