Role Summary:
The key responsibilities of a Mechanic are:
- Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance to our S92 and EC175 Helicopter fleet as part of the Aberdeen engineering team
- Accurate documentation of maintenance carried out within the scope of their approval
- Ensure that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status
- Ensure that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisions
- Ensure all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled
- Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work areas under their control
- Must observe employee responsibilities to comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policy within their area
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience of Rotary wing aircraft preferably within the Oil and gas environment although other types and relative experience will be considered
- An awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements
- Be computer literate - experience of AMOS MRO software is preferred but not essential
- Good Communications skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to work well within a high performing team
Candidates will also be required to pass Psychometric evaluations and be able to pass a UK security background check and a disclosure Scotland check required to obtain an airport security pass.
