About the Trust
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is one of the largest acute Trusts in the UK, employing over 28,000 staff. It was formed on 1st October 2017 and since then has been responsible for running a family of nine hospitals across six separate sites, providing a wide range of services from comprehensive local general hospital care through to highly specialized regional and national services.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- MDT co-ordinator- will work closely with consultants and other clinical staff on a multi-disciplinary meeting to discuss patients planned care.
- You will be expected to listen intently to the information being shared and take down information accurately, outcomes will be sent to consultants in a timely manner to allow the patients care to continue without delay.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- MDT experience
- System knowledge – Hive, Data input
- Minute taking experience
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
