Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We have an opportunity at our Glasgow ERF for a MBT Supervisor to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday shift pattern, to include nights.
The salary for this role will be £44,440.00 per year, inclusive of shift allowance and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

As our MBT Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient day to day operation of the Plant under the direction of the Operations Manager and maximise the availability, throughput, and production at the facility.
You’ll also assist the Shift Team Leader with maintaining all company standards and ensure legal compliance.
Our ideal MBT Process Cleaner will have:
- A proven track record of successfully supervising a production process.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with other staff, customers, regulators, and the general public
- Experience of supervision of teams within a production/maintenance management of an industrial/factory type facility
- Previous experience in a similar operational role or environment.
- IOSH working safely qualification is desirable but not essential.
