Job description
The Executive Mayor’s Office is situated at the heart of Croydon Council and plays a vital role in providing direct support to the elected Mayor, Jason Perry, and his Cabinet in order to implement their policy priorities.
We are currently seeking two Mayor's caseworkers to assist the Mayor in delivering high-quality, timely, and compassionate responses to casework and correspondence received from residents. Your responsibilities will include logging, managing, and resolving casework inquiries by directly communicating with both services and residents on behalf of the Mayor.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, allowing you to interact tactfully and sensitively with a diverse range of residents, council officers, and other stakeholders.
Ideally, you should also have a good understanding of how local government operates and have experience in handling complaints, casework, Members' inquiries, correspondence, or similar activities.
