Salary: £25,816 – £36,743 (a market supplement may apply subject to
qualifications, skills, and experience)
Hours: 30 hours/week, 8:45-17:00
Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday (0.8FTE)
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our Maths, English, Teacher Training & ESOL department from January 2023. In this rewarding post you will be delivering teaching on our GCSE and Functional Skills classes to adult learners and young adults between 16-18.
Working closely with the Head of Department and the rest of the team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with students to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. In particular, you will have a strong focus on delivering innovative and student led learning.
The successful candidate must have:
- A full teaching qualification
- A minimum of an A Level in Maths (though a Degree qualification would be strongly desired)
- Recent GCSE & Functional Skills teaching experience (ideally within an FE environment)
- Experience teaching both adults students and 16-18 year olds
