Job description

We are looking for Math Tutor-Algebra, Geomety, Pre Cal, Calculus with 3 or more years of expereince to

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in areas such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials to ensure that lessons are effective and engaging for students
• Communicate with parents about their child’s progress, scheduling appointments, and answering any questions about tutoring services
• Observe students’ behavior during lessons and providing feedback to improve performance
• Develop an individualized plan for each student based on his or her specific needs
• Help students develop study skills such as time management and note taking
• Meet with students individually or in small groups to provide supplemental instruction in math subjects
• Evaluate students’ strengths and weaknesses in math subjects and recommending appropriate coursework or tutoring sessions
• Provide feedback on student progress and offering additional assistance as needed

Tutors students individually or in scheduled group study sessions to review principles, solve problems, and review for tests; assists students to develop math, study, and other academic skills; provides counsel on math and test anxiety concerns.

Candidate will need to work on weekends and evenings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.25 - $35.42 per hour
