Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring adherence to campaign plans and collaborating with external suppliers and internal colleagues to meet timelines and budgets.
Operationally oversee a calendar of events and activities, such as open days and exhibitions, to achieve recruitment targets and provide exceptional customer experiences throughout the journey.
Manage various customer-facing marketing channels, including the website, email campaigns, social media, and print materials, ensuring up-to-date, relevant, and consistent content aligned with brand guidelines and marketing strategy.
Supervise customer contact platforms, handling inbound enquiries and utilising the CRM platform to gain insights for enhancing marketing and communications services.
Support the growth of audiences through marketing, outreach, and engagement initiatives.
Regularly analyse and share marketing metrics and impact, including evaluating student recruitment numbers year-on-year, while assessing the overall impact of activities on the customer experience.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to gather and analyse market insights, mapping customers, stakeholders, and products to identify and respond to opportunities. Stay updated on competitors and share market insights to support campaign development.
Ensure the marketing campaign promotes diversity, challenges stereotypes, and exemplifies the ethos of inclusion and widening participation.
Occasionally deputise for the Director of Marketing and Communications, taking charge of corporate communications and public relations strategies as necessary.
Represent our client at relevant events and activities throughout the year.
Fulfil other appropriate duties within the scope of the role, as required, at locations determined by the service's needs.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A recognised marketing qualification.
- Experience managing a team and coaching/mentoring others to meet service standards.
- Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns for diverse audiences in complex organisations.
- Experience in managing relationships with external suppliers.
- Excellent computer literacy, including data analysis and report preparation.
- Knowledge and understanding of student recruitment and engagement processes.
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy skills or willingness to acquire them.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to set high standards for staff, external agencies, and personal performance.
- Experience in budget management and working with external suppliers.
