The scale of Rainbow’s operation is formidable in the Costume Character Industry, and Rainbow Productions’ Events Department, organise in excess of 1500 events every year, ensuring that the highest standards are created and maintained in costume character portrayal. - creating a unique, purpose built and designed costume character maintenance facility,
- training artistes from all aspects of creative industries in the unique skills required to be an inspirational costume character performer
- setting the standards in costume character portrayal worldwide.
Role summary:
Reporting directly and working closely with the EVENTS MANAGER and the EVENTS COORDINATOR, the Events Administrator, has responsibility for helping to ensure that all character events run smoothly and successfully. The position is office-based Monday and Friday only, 9am-5:30pm, with occasional on-call weekend work.
The successful candidate will be:
· Organised, methodical, thorough and diligent with excellent organisational & logistical skills
· Competent in Word & Excel
The day to day responsibilities are to include:
· Processing invoices (for Freelance Artistes, Road Managers, Hotels and Hire Cars)
· Handling and reconciling petty cash
· Checking in hire cars
· Creating event folders
· Being adaptable for other ad hoc duties that may arise
Remuneration:
The salary of the Events Administrator will be discussed at interview.
8 days paid holiday.
