The Maternity Service at SaSH provides care for approximately 5000 women and families each year with a birth rate of 4500.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, kind and compassionate individual to join our Maternity team. We look for an individual who will live our values of compassion, dignity and respect, one team and the promotion of safe, high quality care.
We are looking for individuals who will complement the existing dynamic hospital team and somebody who can make a positive difference to the maternity services at this Trust. Applications are invited for the above post, to work within our progressive and innovative department.
The aim of the role of the Maternity Care assistant will be to support and care for women and their family within the maternity care setting. To assist in supporting the delivery of midwifery care to clients ensuring the highest possible standards of care are received by clients and their carers while in our care under the supervision of qualified staff. Following successful appointment to the role you will be provided with training and development opportunities.
