The shift pattern for this post is Monday- Sunday 0900-1700 or mix days/nights 0800-2000 or 1930-0800
Hours are either 30 hours or 37.5 hours with maximum of 11 posts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for trainee Maternity Care Assistants within NHS GGC. All applicants should be aware that the academic training for this post will commence at UWS in September 2023. Higher English and 3 further GCSE’s would be desirable but is not essential. Experience within a health care setting is essential. During the duration of the post the successful candidates will be placed between university, inpatient maternity service and community maternity services. The ability to drive would be beneficial but is not essential. Successful candidates will be paid at 75% of a Band 4 post for the duration of the training as per agenda for change terms and conditions annex 21. On completion of the training the successful candidates will be expected to carry out the duties mentioned in the MCA job description. Once confirmed the successful applicants will then be offered permanent employment within maternity services with salary being Band 4. To apply please log into NHS Recruitment Scotland webpage.
