Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Support Workers befriender to join our Maternity team.
Approximately 5,400 women each year choose to birth at Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. We provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care across the Wakefield district and North Kirklees.
At Mid Yorkshire Hospitals we are continuing to implement the National maternity Transformation Programme alongside our colleagues in the local maternity System (LMS) the Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) and other community partners.
The Befriender/Support Worker will work with the Maternity Team to ensure that women receive high quality care and an excellent experience whilst in Maternity services.
