Job description

This exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our friendly team at the Ashcombe Birth Unit.

You will be providing a comprehensive reception and administration service for clients, visitors, clinical and non-clinical
staff.

The reception covers the clinics listed below -

  • Antenatal Clinic
  • Early Pregnancy Clinic
  • Ultrasound Clinic
  • Postnatal Clinic
The post holder will be responsible for the organisation of their own workload and delegated decisions / actions and to work flexibly within the multidisciplinary team. The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the
heart of this role. The post holder will be required to book and outcome appointments. To maintain clinic lists electronically using the Medway System and CRIS. In addition, to acknowledge referrals from Community Midwives and book appointments as appropriate.
