About the role
We are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking and organised individual to join the growing Credit Operations Team. We are responsible for monitoring our key business operational performance (cash collection, underwriting and stakeholder management) to identify issues or opportunities. The successful candidate will be working on proposing solutions and implementing them together with other teams.
What the job involves
- Help to manage the day-to-day processes of our Credit Operations Team and recommend improvements that accelerate business impact.
- Monitor key business metrics and provide insights to changes in performance.
- Take part in investigations of problems and help to establish direct and root causes for issues that may arise in our decisioning/collections/money transfer processes.
- Resolve ad-hoc credit-related queries and work closely with other teams and stakeholders to support our members and solve problems.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives such as experiments and other projects as required.
Who you are
- Have experience working in a fast-pace environment (ideally regulated i.e. financial services and/or customer facing roles).
- Have experience in tracking team’s KPIs including strategy performance indicators.
- Excellent communicator with interpersonal and organisational skills to deliver clear and concise messages in a timely manner.
- Have an innovative approach with a can-do attitude and do not hesitate to roll your sleeves to make things happen.
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems rapidly.
- Understand data analysis concepts with basic SQL skills (or a strong desire to learn).
