Evolito Materials Engineering Internship Programme
We are looking for highly motivated university students with a clear passion for engineering and innovative technology, keen to gain skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, design and manufacturing environment. We are looking for interns to join the team for 3 months over the summer to gain real-world, hands-on experience within our exciting, market leading company.
The successful candidates will work as part of dedicated teams on long- and short-term self-contained projects and will be mentored throughout their work. You will have the freedom to innovate and develop solutions to real challenges. It is likely that successful candidates will come from an engineering or hard science background and be able to demonstrate a hands-on, practical ability. The programmes will provide an engineering, materials and business learning experience and be a significant component in your future development and career prospects.
During the 3-month programme, you will use your science and engineering background to complete successful, real-world projects, and will be supported during your work by members of your team. It is important you are able to clearly document your work and to be able to present at internal meetings.
Materials Engineer
Working in the Engineering Analysis team, as the Materials Engineer intern, you will be involved in the following:
- Investigation and trade study of materials in the marketplace
- Evaluating materials for down selection and creating of a test plan
- Preparation and testing of samples
- Analysing and interpreting real-world test data
- Summarising research and results and presenting to a wider audience
- Providing project support in a materials capability
