Job Vacancy – Material Handler/Stores Person

We are currently looking for a Material Handler/Stores Person with the responsibility for picking materials and manoeuvring them to the required department around the factory. Ensuring that all departments have the materials required to work productively and fulfil customer requirements whilst maintaining material records to make sure the business’ stock is always accurate.
What you’ll be doing
- Receiving and unpacking material deliveries
- Cycle counting to ensure orders match materials received
- Transporting materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Responding to material requests from other business departments
- Picking orders from the storage space and bringing them for packing or to the loading bay for transportation.
- Ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly.
- Picking of kits for supply to manufacturing.
- Delivering on Company Mission, Vision & Values.

- 37 hours over a 4.5 day week (Monday–Thursday 7.15am–15.45pm and Friday 7.15am–12.15pm)
Salary: £10.47 an hour
