The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Material Controller Team Leader in the Supply Chain Rotable Inventory team. This is an incredibly varied role involving working collaboratively with all our internal stakeholders as well as multiple external suppliers globally.

The Material Controller Team Leader for Rotable Inventory is responsible for managing a wide team of buyers and Material Controllers who are accountable for the end to end process of delivering material required for both planned and unplanned maintenance in the UK and at various worldwide MROs. Your key stakeholders will be our technical, planning and quality teams and due to the operational nature of the role you will also need to be able to work collaboratively with production. You will need strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as good analytical capability. Team management experience would be an advantage as would previous procurement or buying experience.
