Job description
The Matchday Box Office Assistant ensures all attendees of an event at Emirates Stadium have valid tickets, can enter the stadium successfully and have the best possible experience doing so.
This is an event day only role, where you will be positioned outside at the turnstiles with our Stewarding teams.

Responsibilities will include:
- Communicate with attendees and act as a key point of contact for matchday/event attendees at Emirates Stadium
- Provide excellent customer service to those attending matchdays/events through the provision of accurate directions, event and Club information
- Ensure only those with a valid ticket enter the stadium, referring supporters with invalid tickets to the Box Office
- Communicate and co-ordinate with other matchday/event staff as necessary
- Support the wider team on occasion, which may involve handling cash
- Assist with any other general support (as required) to ensure visitors to Emirates Stadium enjoy the very best possible experience
Successful applicants on a casual worker basis must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Relevant experience in a customer/public facing environment, providing excellent customer service
- Due to the nature of this position, applications are required to be aged 18 or over
- Live the values - live and breathe 'The Arsenal Way', have an understanding of football, and be able to demonstrate Club knowledge and history is desirable
- Availability and flexibility to work evenings, weekdays and weekends
- Flexible attitude to working hours
Hours - Event Day only
Casual Role – Available to work evening and weekend matchdays – Shifts last 4 hours and start 3 hours prior to kick off. All hours and times are subject to change dependent on start times of events.
