Match Day Stewards Recruitment Open Day
Season 2023 / 2024
£10.90 per hour
We’re looking for match day stewards / turnstile operators to join us for our 2023 / 2024 season.
We’re looking for individuals who have excellent customer service skills who will provide our supporters with a safe and enjoyable matchday experience. It would be beneficial if you have experience within spectator safety. However, we’re also looking for those with transferable skills to train in a summer program ahead of the new season.
To be a match day steward you must be 18 or over and will require a standard DBS check in line with premier league regulations and have a level 2 crowd and spectator safety qualification. If you do not have the qualification, we will provide the training during the summer.
If this sounds like you and you would like to join our matchday family please attend our recruitment open day on Saturday 24th June, 10am – 4pm in the Park Grill Leazes Stand St James Park.
You need to turn up on the day between the above times where you will need to complete an application form and attend a short interview.
If you are successful, you will need to be available on the below dates;
15th July – Induction
22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th July – Training weekends
