Massage Therapist Cast Members receive an hourly rate per hour, and also receive commission and gratuity.

Responsibilities :
Our Massage Therapists do the following:
- Perform all massage treatments offered by the Walt Disney World Resort Spas
- Uphold the standards of safety, sanitation, and sterilization as advised by law and the spa policies and procedures
- Engage with guests to help choose the best massage techniques; check to ensure they are comfortable and happy throughout the treatments; be receptive to their special requests and proactive in anticipating their needs
- Provide outstanding guest experience from the time they step foot into the spa until they leave
- Follow proper draping procedures to protect the guests’ modesty, while maintaining confidentiality
- Provide guest service when problems arise and conflict resolution with a critical balance of integrity and partner resourcing
- Meet retail sales goals by promoting spa treatments, services, retail, and promotions
- Manage and keep a clean station and sanitize all tools; operate and adjust all massage equipment including tables and warm stone units; follow all salon protocol, policies, and procedures; perform prep work, clean and restock room
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending; able to use hands, using repetitive wrist motion twisting; able to stand during prolonged periods of time while providing treatments
- Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required; may handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Work indoors with possibility of outdoor (poolside) work, possible in-room massage offerings at request of guest
- Complete a skills assessment in person at one of our Senses Spas
- Part-time requires minimum 3 days of full availability for any shift per week including nights and holidays
- Full-time requires full availability for any shift, any day of the week including nights and holidays
Basic Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age, Licensed Massage Therapist with the State of Florida, and have at least one (1) year of experience as a licensed
- Proficient in multiple modalities of massage which can include kneading, rubbing and stroking the flesh to stimulate circulation, and relaxing tight muscles
- Can deliver clear and concise verbal and written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding
- Able to work independently with limited direct leadership, while also being punctual, detail oriented, and having excellent time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Here are the outstanding preferred skills that we are looking for:
- Experience with standard office software programs
- Previous experience working in a spa or hotel
- Passion and knowledge of Disney Products is a plus!
- Familiar with the Walt Disney World Resort and surrounding areas
