Account Manager West

Headquarters in Grangemouth, with additional depots across Scotland and the North West of England, we operate through 6 divisions incorporating Plant, Handling, Access, Accommodation, Power and Commercial Vehicles. We are a family business with family values focusing on delivering excellent customer service all the time.
We are seeking an experienced and progressive thinking Account Manager to drive the increase of sales and growth of our plant equipment and accommodation hire within the West of Scotland Area. This is a crucial role in achievement of sales targets and in the expansion of our market share in the Plant and Accommodation Hire Industry.
The Role of Account Manager.......
To promote all Jarvie Plant Group products to current and new customers and maintain positive relationships with all customers/clients. Reporting to the Sales Director and out on the road meeting existing and new customers, your responsibilities will include:
- Improve customer relations
- Take ownership of portfolio's engaging and managing existing customers
- Generate leads and new business opportunities within the west of Scotland
- Determine prices and carry out effective price negotiation and ensuring profitable orders are secured.
- Manage general enquiries such as calls and e-mails.
- Complete effective territory management and diary planning
- Monthly sales report to the Sales Director
- Conduct monthly sales strategies and sales campaigns

- Are you a highly motivated and goal orientated individual?
- Do you have previous sales experience, with knowledge gained in a Plant Hire industry?
- Do you have proven track record in sales growth and revenue?
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills?
- Strong analytical and organisational skills?
- Do you have a sales growth mindset?
- Experienced in working in a face paced, target driven, customer focused environment?
- Are you proficient in using CRM systems, outlook and Microsoft office ?
