  • Collaborating with the marketing team and business development teams to develop engaging and persuasive content for website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials
  • Creating visually appealing and informative PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use, highlighting legal concepts and industry insights
  • Supporting our colleagues in day-to-day activities, including document preparation, data analysis, and project management

Why should I apply?

The role will help you:

  • Develop an understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape in the technology industry
  • Sharpen your research, writing, and presentation skills
  • Collaborate with a diverse and talented team in a supportive environment
  • Provide potential opportunities to attend law firm and industry events

What skills and attributes would I need?

  • Good academics – e.g 2.1 degree or higher, ideally in marketing, business studies or law
  • Good research (including online research) and analysis skills
  • Excellent written English and a keen eye for detail
  • Good skills and familiarity with using Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Good organisational and project management skills to help you manage timelines and workloads
  • Have a pro-active approach to work and managing multiple projects
  • Show a willingness to learn and develop your own skillset
  • Enthusiastic about being involved in business development initiatives
  • Strong team working approach

Who will I be working with?

You will work closely alongside Partner, Jagvinder Singh Kang, who is the firm’s International and UK Head of IT Law, and based in our Birmingham office. Jagvinder is recognised in Legal 500’s official “Hall of Fame” for technology law work, and has been consistently recognised as a leading technology lawyer for well over a decade by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. In addition, you will work with our fantastic national technology law, marketing and business development teams.
