The Role & Responsibilities
As Marketing Projects & Operations Manager, you will play a key role in our growing, ambitious and award-winning marketing team. You will work closely with the Group Marketing Director to provide invaluable insights into budget, processes, workflow and training to help the team run optimally – delivering a positive impact on the Shawbrook brand, our customers, people and communities.
With a significant budget, a breadth of skills and capabilities within the team plus a great roster of external agencies to work with, Marketing delivers a valuable contribution to the success of Shawbrook. Your role will also ensure you get involved in the delivery of some of our largest projects and campaigns, helping to co-ordinate activity across the team, our agencies and key stakeholders within the Bank.

Key Role Responsibilities
- Work with the Marketing leadership team to manage and track progress against our strategy, priorities and key deliverables
- Work with the Marketing Leadership Team to develop a consolidated marketing plan covering all customer franchises and business areas across the Bank, tracking performance across the year
- Run key marketing projects, including website development, large campaigns and strategic initiatives, in close collaboration with Marketing leads and teams
- Working closely with the Finance Team and marketing teams, you will help to provide visibility of our budget position and high-level analysis of our investment across channels, activities and business areas
- Take ownership of team KPIs and develop a dashboard to be used to monitor team performance, providing and presenting activity reports to the marketing leadership team
- Continuously improve team efficiency and effectiveness by developing and refining processes and policies
- Develop strong internal stakeholder relationships with other teams on behalf of the Marketing Team.
- Manage key supplier relationships on behalf of the team.
- Manage training and development resources to benefit the Marketing Team.
The Person
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Project Manager or similar in a Financial Services environment, with strong understanding of industry regulations
- Experience of delivering digital projects
- Experience of analytics and reporting
- Experience of workflow tools, e.g. Monday.com
- Proficiency in MS Office, with experience managing budgets in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
