Contract Type: Temporary, independent contractor between June and September 2023, with the potential to extend into a permanent position
Compensation: £10.50 per hour
Location: Our offices are located in Leicester and you will be required to work there in person once per month (this is your base location). The rest of the time you can choose whether to work in the office or from home.

Company Overview
I'm Rachael, an Online Business Manager, Consultant and Systems Strategist. My company is an operations consultancy working with high-performance business owners around the world that operate predominantly online to structure their internal operations to support business growth and change.
Our clients' main challenge is that their growth has outpaced their business operational structure. They come to us for support in mapping out and then implementing robust and sustainable systems and teams to support their business goals and align with their overall strategy.
I have a strong corporate management background and my skill set lies in strategy, leadership and operations, but as my business is getting busier, I need to continue expanding my team to ensure my operations remain streamlined and to ensure we provide a stand-out client experience - this is where I need you!
Here's what you need to know about my business:
I have a predominantly 1:1 business model. Currently, that involves serving clients in both consultancy and implementation capacities on an ongoing and one-off basis, as well as a digital shop.
A big focus for 2023 is expanding our product suite and incorporating more one-to-many products and services. As part of this focus, we will be launching a membership model and more digital products.
I KNOW the incredible value of a great team member and put a huge focus on creating a positive company culture; I know if you love and are motivated by your work, you'll be better at it. Having said the above, standards are high around here and attention to detail is king. If you tend to miss the details, rush your work and are forever doing things on the day of the deadline, this role isn't for you.
My company is growing fast. Things are constantly changing to accommodate this and you need to be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for supporting the execution of our marketing and PR activity across the business with the following objectives:
- Positioning our company as an industry leader in operational strategy, systems design and implementation
- Hitting our sales goals for the Systems to Swipe Digital Shop
- Providing consistent value to our audience and developing a community aspect
Responsibilities
Strategy
- Keep up to date on industry trends and use this knowledge to help inform our own marketing strategy
- Support in the design and execution of marketing strategies for any launches or projects
- Develop and test innovative strategies for expanding brand awareness and increasing sales
Operations
- Collating, analysing and reporting on key marketing metrics in an easily digestible format
- Identify, pitch and coordinate collaboration opportunities to expand our audience e.g. podcasts, guest expert training or article features
- Load and test emails in email software for the regular marketing emails we send out to our list
- Ensure all interactions on our content such as comments and DMs are responded to in a timely manner (24 business hours) and in line with our brand messaging
Content Creation
- Support in the creation of engaging and conversion-based copy for social media captions, blogs, website pages, emails and other assets
- Repurpose content across multiple platforms
- Research and identify appropriate high volume, low competition keywords to create SEO optimised content for blogs and website pages
- Editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube shorts
- Coordinate the creation and implementation of marketing assets to attract new leads e.g. email marketing funnels, landing pages and lead magnets
- Map out our content plans in our project management software
- Schedule and post to social channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube & Instagram Stories
- Research and test high-performing hashtags across multiple platforms and maintain the hashtag bank
Marketing Admin
- Regular meetings with the rest of the team to update on progress towards our Marketing & PR goals and present ideas for improvement
- Create, maintain and follow all SOPs in reference to your area of responsibility
- Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure the success of our affiliate program

This Role Is For You If:
- You have hands-on marketing and social media experience and/or are studying for a marketing/PR/communications related qualification
- You have experience in collating and analysing data to provide insights and recommendations
- You are equal parts creativity and implementation. We love those great ideas, but we need someone who can consistently execute them as well!
- You have a good technical understanding and love to learn new online software and have the ability to pick it up quickly
- You have great attention to detail and follow-through skills. I'll level with you, standards are high around here and doing a mediocre job and/or consistently missing deadlines will not fly
- You have a positive attitude and a can-do approach to your work
- You have the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously without getting overwhelmed – you get things done, prioritise, and meet deadlines
- When faced with a problem, you demonstrate resourcefulness and actively seek solutions, rather than expecting someone to solve it for you
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You can take initiative and think outside the box
- You look for ways to go above and beyond and are truly invested in what you do
- You are willing to contribute and collaborate, not just ‘do the tasks’ - we WANT your point of view
- You are comfortable receiving and acting on constructive feedback and see it as a tool to grow and develop in your role
- You can respond to all communications within 24 business hours and complete tasks within 2 - 3 business days
