Location: Basingstoke (Dynamic)
Salary: £53,000 - £58,000
Contract: Full Time/Permanent

This is the job
As our Marketing Operations Development Manager, you will have responsibility for the development of our systems that send personalised customer communications. You will also manage the Document Composition team and be accountable for ensuring that our technical solutions and processes deliver fulfilment to our customers.
What will I be doing?
- Lead the strategic direction of systems and processes for communications fulfilment.
- Consult with the business teams to identify opportunities that will meet future needs, reduce costs and drive efficiencies
- Product Owner accountability for the Fulfilment Hub and Docstore applications
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their roadmap and how their needs are met by fulfilment document projects
- Drive the implementation of new document composition interfaces into Smart Communication templates
- Build productive relationships with 3rd party vendors such as Smart Communications and Mailjet
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Extensive project management and end to end lifecycle experience within a marketing operations environment
- Experience of working with document composition or similar tools such as Smart Communications.
- A leader with the ability to build, develop, challenge and motivate a team to achieve success.
- Experience of working both with external suppliers and within an outsourced and offshored IT framework
Personal Characteristics:
- A creative thinker who will challenge the norm, spot trends and use these skills to deliver beneficial process and application changes.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and deal with the prioritisation of conflicting requirements.
- Self-starter that takes the initiative and works well in teams.
