We are currently recruiting HCA’s to join our Medical Short Stay Unit. We recognise that our reputation is built upon the skills and experience of our dedicated team. We are looking for people who have excellent caring skills, profound communication skills along with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients and their relatives. The senior leadership team are committed to valuing and supporting each individual’s learning and development, by prompting the quality and service the ward provides to our patients.
The successful candidates will be fully supported with a preceptor to ensure full support and progression with skills. Along with an induction programme which will include a supernumerary period.

Ward MSSU is a 31 bed medical short stay ward. This is an exciting, fast paced and challenging ward to work on. We receive our patients from MAU and the Emergency department when they are in need of a short stay in hospital. A necessity for this role is to have a very caring and professional nature. The ideal candidates for these positions would be highly motivated and have a genuine desire to help people in every way they can and also provide the best health care across the board.
