Role Introduction
To support the Regional Marketing Manager and coordinate with local markets to adapt Regional and Head Office material for effective use.
To protect and promote the brand reputation of the Cathay Pacific group across all media platforms (traditional, digital and social).
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation and Campaigns
- Support in adapting Regional and Head Office campaigns to be effective in the local market by checking local language and cultural considerations
- Provide the Regional team with local contacts, insights and opportunities to drive additional revenue, develop new campaigns and target specific segments
- Increase penetration of digital sales and growth on cathaypacific.com
- Promote ancillary features to assist in revenue generation
- Work with agencies and Regional team to deliver and execute joint marketing campaigns as required
- Assist in devising partnerships aligned with global partnerships strategy to promote fares and ancillary revenue
- Provide the regional team with insights into regional monthly competitive intelligence on major news
- Assist with the organisation of local sales and trade events if required
- Source and brief local suppliers on marketing collateral requirements
- Ensure stock and orders of collateral is maintained to appropriate levels
- Assist to prepare marketing briefs for local marketing materials / needs
- Work closely with the Regional PR & Social Media manager to implement activities
- Devise and execute regional membership recruitment campaigns aligned with Head Office initiatives
- Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Minimum high school graduation
- University degree or Certification in a Marketing field is an advantage
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ensuring speed to market whilst maintaining quality of work
- Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Communications style is naturally aligned with Cathay Pacific's style
- Flexibility to travel, where required
