Marketing Officer - Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Cambridge, East of England, England

Thrive Tribe
Full Time Cambridge, East of England, England 22000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier. It’s a really exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver the Heathier You NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme throughout Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, and we’re looking for a Marketing Officer to join the team!

The programme is designed to support individuals to make long term behavioural change in order to help halt or reverse the progression of Type 2 Diabetes over a nine-month period. As Marketing Officer you will be responsible for promoting the programme, working closely with our centralised marketing team to ensure a systematic approach is taken to generating referrals and developing successful working partnerships.

You will be working towards referral targets in a variety of areas including health inequalities, client engagement, referral volumes and relationship management in order to optimise the performance of the programme.

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role, and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as an Marketing Officer might include:

  • Liaising with external organisations to build effective partnerships and promotion of the Healthier You service particularly within primary care locations, voluntary and community services
  • Working in partnership with Thrive Tribe’s centralised marketing team on marketing and communications plans, such as promotional campaigns
  • Leading on outreach activities with an aim to drive engagement across the service and exceed our KPIs
  • Maintaining an up-to-date record of service stakeholders and assisting with the dissemination of communications with partner organisations
  • Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!
  • Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!

About you...

More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart in to their work. We’ve got some core values that run through everything we do, and we’d love it if they resonate with you too!

Be the change

You like helping people. You’ll be working with those who need help the most, empowering them to make positive changes to thrive.

Be happy

You recognise the power of a smile. You value a fun, supportive workplace and want to come to work raring to go (check out our rating on Glassdoor).

Be successful

You are motivated and driven. Happy working solo or as part of a team, you love generating ideas and implementing health improvement campaigns. You will be given opportunities to contribute and develop your career.

Be big-hearted

You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, we want the same thing to do meaningful work and change lives.

To work with us in this role you will need to have some knowledge or experience in networking, referral generation and/or partnership management, as well as an understanding of health inequalities and approaches on how to engage those experiencing them into health promotion services.

However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you don’t have all of the necessary experience but feel you are right for the role we would love to hear from you!
