Job Description
- Responsible for planning, development and implementation of marketing activities to promote, and in particular our services, to the horticultural industry.
- To take an innovative and proactive approach in recommending opportunities across a variety of campaigns and channels to promote, extend our reach and drive engagement to help people working in horticulture live better lives
- To deliver a range of on and offline marketing initiatives and projects working with the wider Marketing and Fundraising team.
- To liaise with internal teams to produce effective communications and marketing collateral and ensure that our content is up to date, accurate and accessible.
- To manage our databases, segmentation and data protection preferences to effectively manage our CRM/CMS activity.
- To provide timely and relevant reports to the Marketing Manager to support evaluation of campaigns and online activity.
- To work with the agencies and mailing houses to ensure high quality service and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Create marketing collateral, working with other departments to ensure that our brand and tone are consistent across all communications, that they comply with charity, GDPR and fundraising legislation and all remain up to date.
- Attend training courses on various inhouse systems, eg.CRM systems and google analytics.
The Successful Applicant
- Have a formal qualification in marketing or similar discipline and a good understanding of marketing principles, in particular direct marketing and digital channels.
- Have worked in the third sector, preferably with experience of promoting similar services to those offered by Perennial
- Have some experience with reporting.
- Have good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise your work.
- Have experience of digital campaign support across SEO, social media and paid search advertising.
- Experience of WordPress, MailChimp and Excel. (Desired)
What's on Offer
Hours of work: 9-5pm, Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch. Flexible hours will be considered.Holidays: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays (with increases for long service)Pension: operates an auto-enrolment pension scheme and will match employee contributions up to the statutory amount.
