We offer remote work for this post, however monthly meetings with the Sales Team in our Wiltshire office are of mandatory attendance
THE ROLE
The Marketing Specialist will act as a strategic lead within the business. Optimity’s traditional marketing approach has relied heavily on word-of-mouth referrals when an existing client has referred us to other companies. As we have grown and developed our business and the managed services we offer our customers, this low cost, low effort approach now requires a more strategic plan to identify our competitive advantage and to expand Optimity’s reach into a new customer base.
DUTIES
- Provide a marketing roadmap.
- Develop and implement the brand and marketing strategy so that is underpins the company’s corporate strategic plan.
- Develop the marketing strategy to support the implementation of new products and services.
- Provide targeted campaigns based on email, survey & other inbound & direct marketing methods.
- To help generate & qualify leads.
- To produce or organise the production IT specific content.
- Generate specific call-to action objectives based on campaigns.
- Campaign Development.
- Hubspot, website & social media management.
- Have an active involvement in the implementation of the marketing strategy including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
- Use data analytics in order to drive marketing campaigns in specific geo localities.
- Working alongside the company’s sales team to produce the required level of inbound sales enquiries; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentation.
- Developing the marketing function within the company to produce the required volume of inbound sales enquires.
- Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organisation.
- Build on the reputation of the company as a key player in London’s tech sector and its reputation in apprenticeships.
- Develop multiple channels to market e.g. website/web collateral/physical collateral/campaigns/social media etc.
This list is not exhaustive, and the tasks assigned might increase as per company’s needs.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Relevant qualification from a professional body (eg. CIM, CAM, IDM).
- 3 years' commercial marketing experience within an MSP or service provider.
- Experience creating and delivering marketing campaigns, communicating strategy to stakeholders but also outlining challenges and steps to resolution.
- Able to adapt to an ever-changing environment while being able to remain focused and not lose sight of strategic goals.
- A high level of work independence is necessary while being able to be supportive and provide direction based on company initiative.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- A broad technical understanding & IT fluency.
- Some knowledge of the managed service industry and its current events and technological developments.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Skill in prioritising and triaging obligations.
