We work in every dimension of commercial real estate. Our mission is to realise the potential in all the businesses and people we work with, so that together we can create the real estate solutions of the future. We are driven by the entrepreneurial spirit of our people and the diverse needs of our clients.

Marketing plays a crucial role in this by instigating and managing end-to-end campaigns that start in the media and digital space with brand building, through to developing relevant and timely content for relationship building and lead generation directly into the business.

Role Purpose

CBRE is recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join our busy UK Marketing team, working alongside several business lines, including Retail and Valuations, reporting to the Head of Marketing UK.

The key focus of this role is to execute the go-to-market strategy for several lines of business including Retail, Valuations, Property Management, Business Rates, Strategic Advisory and across all of CBRE’s regional offices. Experience in marketing strategy planning and implementation is essential, including a proven track record of successfully delivering marketing events, alongside an appreciation of the complex matrices of professional services organisations. The role will be responsible for delivering a strategic marketing programme including event delivery; digital-first integrated marketing campaigns that promote CBRE’s points of difference; new business initiatives; events; client communications; new product and service launches; and collateral creation including PowerPoint decks, service line material and value proposition composition.
Success in this role rests on the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, through excellent account management skills and high-quality strategic delivery.

The position will be based in our brand-new Henrietta House office in London’s West End, although this person will be expected to be flexible and able to work from other offices across the UK, and virtually, as required.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Establish close working relationships with relevant UK stakeholders across all service lines and regional offices, to become a trusted partner able to contribute to business strategy using excellent industry and competitor knowledge
  • Personify excellence in account management, ensuring each stakeholder interaction is exemplary
  • Demonstrate excellent briefing and response skills

Planning and delivery
  • Execute an annual programme of marketing outputs from a single co-ordinated plan to assist the business in holding relevant and timely conversations with clients
  • Working with the events team to deliver strategic and seamlessly run events for lines of business, managing content, stakeholders and project managing the event
  • Deploy insight, industry knowledge, business understanding, and the results of previous activity to refine recommendations to the business
  • Create and execute all plans efficiently and with continuous improvement
  • Work alongside the events, communications and digital marketing functions to deliver integrated campaigns that materially contribute to business growth
  • Accountability for brand and positioning communications including all visual identity, adherence and consistency, key messaging, creative expression, tone of voice, imagery and other expressions that develop brands and build equity

Digital
  • Recommend new and creative ideas to maximise the opportunity afforded by digital channels
  • Integrate digital into all campaigns, working to identify opportunities where digital can replace other tactics
  • Display a comprehensive understanding of the opportunity afforded by social and digital channels, including web presence, SEO optimised quality content and client journeys
  • Maintain and update existing service line pages on the website

Campaign management
  • Work collaboratively with the business to identify relevant and timely client-issues to support the creation of innovative product launches and marketing campaigns
  • Execute a commercially focused, value-adding programme of integrated campaigns to raise profile and deliver revenue, working closely with the central marketing functions
  • Ensure all campaigns add value at each stage of the client journey and reinforce CBRE’s brand and expertise

Qualifications and experience
  • Marketing expert with multi-channel marketing experience
  • Real Estate experience desirable
  • Degree-level qualification preferred
  • Understanding of digital channels and social media
  • Experience of running and managing marketing events

Soft skills
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm with creativity and lateral thinking in all interactions
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised as this is a fast-paced role
  • Fast learner and ability to adapt to new information and deadlines quickly
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and proactively at all times
  • Confident and effective written and verbal communication across multiple stakeholders
  • Manage time effectively while managing multiple priorities and projects concurrently
  • An impressive team player, with a strong ability to implement ideas
  • Process driven and a commitment to setting an example of best working practice
