We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join Spotify’s International Marketing Team.

The International Marketing Team is part of Spotify’s Global Marketing organization. We support the organization’s mission to make Spotify one of the most relevant and beloved brands in culture today.

Our team has a few key areas of focus:
1. Developing Spotify’s global marketing strategy and yearly marketing plan
2. Partnering with Spotify’s marketing teams in key regions around the world to bring the global marketing strategy and plan to life
3. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver major global and multi-market marketing initiatives (like Wrapped)

To deliver in these focus areas, we work with a wide range of stakeholders - spanning Global Marketing functions and Regional Marketing teams.

Our ideal candidate is a versatile marketer who is fluent in all aspects of the marketing process - including strategy, creative, business, media, and operations - and capable of leading or supporting key initiatives.

Candidates based in GMT and CEST time zones are strongly preferred (to maximize working hours with existing team members).

What you'll do

  • Support team leadership in development of the global marketing strategy, identifying trends and making recommendations on brand, business, and competitive factors
  • Develop marketing strategies and write marketing briefs for global and multi-market marketing initiatives, helping establish Spotify’s top of mind leadership in youth culture
  • Organize, guide, and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver on goals
  • Work with Regional Marketing teams to localize and execute
  • Analyze and report on success and learnings to inform future work
  • Manage multi-market budgets for global and multi-market marketing initiatives
  • Partner with Regional Marketing teams to understand their markets, their businesses, and their cultural environments
  • Create a bridge between Global Marketing teams and Regional Marketing teams to align strategies and ways of working
  • Communicate key updates from Global Marketing to the Regional Marketing teams in a clear and timely way
  • Become an expert on our key metrics - including brand health, social conversation, user growth, subscriptions, and revenue - understanding the relationship between them
  • Support the goals of International Marketing and learn from the Marketing Leaders currently on the team

Who you are

  • You are a proven marketer with 5+ years of experience managing a top global brand
  • You are a versatile marketer who is fluent in strategy, creative, business, media, and operations
  • You have experience, knowledge, and interest in the Global-to-Regional dynamic in a marketing organization
  • You have managed, partnered with, or worked in multiple regions / markets in your career
  • You are capable of writing clear, sharp, actionable strategies and briefs
  • You are fluent in data and insights and are able to use them to inform marketing strategies and plans
  • You are a team player who thrives in highly collaborative environments
  • You are comfortable operating in complex or ambiguous situations
  • You are able to travel internationally, when the business requires it
  • You are flexible to work outside of normal working hours to connect with Global and Regional marketing peers across different time zones
