It's an exciting time for on-demand grocery with a hyper-competitive environment, come and be part of the team that's building a completely new customer behaviour in the UK. We're looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for building and executing co-marketing plans for our top five strategic partners including Co-op, Aldi, Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Morrisons, and supporting the Head of Marketing in our Grocery ATL campaign development. This role reports to the Head of Marketing, Grocery UK and is based in London and is based remotely (during lockdown measures); in London thereafter.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter, and a strong cross-functional worker able to lead teams to develop strong campaigns. You'll have a passion for all things Grocery, be customer obsessed and have a natural ability to think strategically to solve business problems. You'll be experienced in working with customer data & insight to build marketing campaigns and have a broad knowledge and understanding of the marketing channel mix. You'll be a highly organised self-starter with a growth mindset and strong influencing skills, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to 'think big' while paying careful attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans with the support of the Head of Marketing. Key responsibilities:
ATL Campaign Management
- Deliver annual calendar of key marketing campaign activations for 2022.
- As the Grocery champion within the business, you will build brilliant briefs filled with customer and category level insights to support in the development of Grocery ATL campaign plans, working closely with the media and campaigns team to support growth of the business vertical across all major channels including TV, OOH, Print, Radio, Digital & Social.
- Work in collaboration with M&C team to develop marketing leading creative and media plans at a national and local level.
- Manage cross functional teams to deliver against campaign plans, including working with Creative and Media agencies & channel teams to develop attention grabbing marketing campaigns.
- Develop hypotheses and build test and learn into plans.
- Develop PCA's to understand performance of campaigns, and create a bank of learnings.
- Launch campaigns on time and on budget, working with our legal team to ensure compliance.
Partner Management
- Build annual co-marketing plans with our top five partners, working collaboratively to grow their business on the platform. You'll use data and insight to support this planning process, identifying new opportunities for growth & building test and learn opportunities into the plan.
- Support the launch of multiple new grocery partners throughout the year, building a launch toolkit based on data & insight and implementing this with our channel teams
- Manage approval processes for campaigns with our Grocery partners.
- Work closely with our commercial team to feed into quarterly reviews of marketing activities and results.
Essential Criteria:
- Highly organised individual, strong executor and naturally detailed oriented person
- Confident presentation skills
- Experience working in a marketing based role & very comfortable working with data and insights
- Experience developing 360 marketing campaigns preferred
- Be comfortable negotiating & persuading to secure marketing support for grocery/deliveroo
- Entrepreneurial attitude, proactive and go-getter.
