Job description
An opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and dynamic team providing occupational therapy for children . We are looking for enthusiastic, positive, proactive people to join our therapy teams in Thurrock, Basildon or Brentwood areas . You will work closely with a friendly multi professional team who are committed to encouraging independence, promoting self-care, supporting parents and carers and assisting children to achieve their goals. The successful candidates will have good communication skills, be creative, reliable, able to use their initiative and work flexibly to respond to service needs.
Working with the therapists you will assist in managing specialist equipment and providing therapy to children in clinic base, at home or in their schools or nurseries. Confidence in using technology is a definite advantage. The team works from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays however we do support flexible working. Previous experience ofworking with children with disabilities is desirable and experience of working with OT would be helpful.
