What you will do
You will assume day to day responsibility within the Marketing and Communications team for owning and executing all Direct to Consumer (D2C) marketing projects. This will include working with the Marketing and Customer UX lead to build and execute the D2C strategy, including copy writing, campaign planning and executing, multi-channel marketing campaigns and MI reporting to meet agreed timelines and expected high quality.
As part of the responsibility of campaign planning and execution, the role holder will be the SME for the CRM system.
The role holder will be responsible for D2C marketing activity to drive the growth of both returning customer and new customer engagement and spends for retail finance, personal loans and AppToPay.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring financial promotions are compliant and brand tone of voice is executed.
The role will also actively contribute towards significant projects within V12, interacting regularly with colleagues across the business, in all departments, to help growth plans and wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- To own and implement D2C marketing campaigns including creative, copy writing, campaign planning, identifying KPIs, post campaign analysis and change recommendations to key stakeholders.
- To be SME for CRM system, including owning regulatory compliance of data.
- Responsible for ensuring financial promotions are compliant and brand tone of voice is executed.
- To manage all D2C marketing communications, including social media platforms and social campaign planning and execution inline with V12 commercial strategy.
- To manage V12 Group of websites to ensure brand clarity and tone of voice, as well as drive improvements to grow engagement.
- To build and manage third party relationships with agencies and suppliers to execute marketing strategy.
- Own D2C marketing performance regular reporting to key stakeholders
- To work across V12 departments, engaging with stakeholders to identify the requirement for D2C marketing support to achieve team targets and business goals, and to own those projects where identified.
What you will bring
- Strong understanding of marketing and communication theory
- Proven experience executing direct to consumer campaigns to drive growth
- Proven experience with engaging with stakeholders
- Experience and enjoyment working at pace and with autonomy
- Good working knowledge and experience of a range of communication channels, campaign systems and social media.
- Financial services experience, or experience in another regulated industry, is essential.
